Free Web Hosting Area is best for:
- I do not recommend it at all (see below to know why).
My experience with Free Web Hosting Area:
-
Easy and quick signup
From the FreeWebHostingArea homepage, the sign-up process starts by entering your subdomain or your exciting domain name, of course, I chose to use the free subdomain.
Free Web Hosting Area lets you choose from 10 utility domains to use for your subdomain.
After I hit ”PROCEED” the page loads up in a white background design asking me for my email and password, when I hit “Create”, this page loads up again showing me my website subdomain, log-in details, and FTP information, and now I have my account with this free hosting.
-
Instantly accessible subdomain
After I got all my account details, the first thing I tested is if my newly created subdomain will be instantly accessible, yes it was the case.
-
Very limited control panel
The control panel was not a cPanel or Advanced Control Panel, it was a custom one, simple and very limited.
My first feeling after seeing this control panel is that it’s not professional because it looks like websites from the 2000s.
I started looking for what tools are available with this custom control panel. Unfortunately, there are no apps auto-installer, no website builder, no email account, and no Cron Jobs.
-
Free SSL certificate is available
While overviewing this custom control panel, I noticed an announcement telling me that a free SSL certificate can be enabled if my account has quality content.
-
My account was terminated before installing WordPress
I downloaded the WordPress script from the official website and went back to the web-based FTP client in order to delete the existing files.
After I deleted all these files I got the idea of seeing how my free website will looks like, and here was the surprise.
My Free Web Hosting Area account has been terminated for terms infrigement.
I was surprised after seeing this red notice.
The first thing I did is checking the terms of service page.
Before checking these terms of service, I thought my country was forbidden, fortunately, it was not the case, but I think I found what caused this.
Do I recommend Free Web Hosting Area?
I do not recommend this free hosting, without any doubt.
